Volunteer Positions
As the MS Winter Walk and Fun Run is on a Sunday, please check your transport options before applying to volunteer. Parking is plentiful however public transport is typically only available after 8am which will prevent you from arriving on time to undertake a volunteer position.
Route Marshals
Support and cheer on participants by directing them along the course, advising of approaching hazards and forming a communications network.
Drink Station
Provide water to participants by filling up cups and keeping the area tidy.
Registration
Register participants on the day.
Pre Paid Pick up
Provide participants who have already paid their entry kits.
BBQ/Catering
Help to cook the BBQ as well as serve food and drinks.
Site Marshals
Assist in participant marshalling and the installation and pack down of equipment and general site maintenance.
Information
Provide general information to participants.
Cloaking
Assist with the operations of the cloaking facilities offered to participants.
Fun Support Team
Blow up and hand out balloons and other prizes as well as assisting with the crazy hair service.
Timing Volunteers
Distributing and collecting the blue chip timing tags for the runners.
Money Handling (massage)
Handling the money donations for the massage service provided to participants.
Team Photos
Assist and organise the team signs for the photos.
