Health and safety of our participants, volunteers and staff is our top priority

Our main priority is to mitigate any risk to you our amazing MS Walk Run + Roll supporters, volunteers and staff. Therefore, in Victoria, the 2020 MS Walk Run + Roll event will go ahead a virtual event only.

Even as the world changes, the challenges of living with MS do not quit. The 25,000+ Aussies living with MS continue to need our support more than ever. Fundraising is critical to making sure no one has to face MS alone, and people can continue to benefit from the services MS provides, which includes essential in-person client services and support delivered digitally and over the phone, such as MS Connect, Peer Support Groups, MS Advisor and MS Education.

So, we continue to plan and work towards the 2020 MS Walk Run + Roll in whatever version is safest and suitable in our different locations and communities.

How to stay healthy and safe

Whether you are training or participating in the MS Virtual Walk Run + Roll event, we encourage everyone to make choices that support public safety and wellness and avoid spreading disease.

Please follow advice from the State and Federal Government authorities and Australian Health Department.

Stay at home if you feel unwell. If you have a fever, cough, sore throat, or difficulty breathing, do not participate in public events and seek medical advice.

Stay at home if you have been in contact with a confirmed or suspected case of COVID-19, have travelled interstate or overseas in the last 14 days.

Follow the directions of Government Health Authorities and always practise good hygiene. The Australian Government provides advice on hygiene practices. For more information, visit the Australian Government website.
