In 2020, the MS Virtual Walk Run + Roll – Victoria celebrates 15 years.

The MS Virtual Walk Run + Roll – Victoria is a virtual event for the first time ever and we’ve made it FREE to enter – which means ALL Victorians can be a part of the community!

Your health and wellbeing is our top priority. Due to the situation surrounding COVID-19 in Melbourne, we have decided to reposition the Victorian edition of the MS Walk Run + Roll series as a virtual event so we can continue to support the MS Community, honour our dedicated past participants and raise vital funds for people living with multiple sclerosis.

Here’s how to complete the 2020 MS Virtual Walk Run + Roll


Connect your fitness device

  • Download the Fitbit , MapMyFitness or Strava app and set up your account (if you don't already have one)
  • Log in to your fundraiser account
  • Under the heading 'My Fitness Activity' on 'My Page', connect your chosen app
  • Follow the prompts to connect your account

NB Don't forget to also set your Distance Target, 5KM or 10KM


Get moving!

Complete your walk, run or roll any time this weekend on Saturday 17 October or Sunday 18 October 2020. Using your favourite fitness app or device, log your distance and time (and earn bragging rights on socials ?).


Submit your results!

When you next work out, select ‘start your workout’ in the app on your phone or smart watch. Once you end your workout, save your workout and your distance will be published to the tally on your page THE FOLLOWING DAY.

If you have synced your app already but it is not working, please log in and re-connect it.

When using Fitbit, you must ‘start’ and 'end/save' an activity for it to sync to your fundraising page. Your daily steps will not automatically add to your page. If you are having issues, try syncing through BOTH your Fitbit and the Fitbit app on your smartphone.

Your tally will be updated each day with the previous day’s distance(s). Please allow 24 hours for your activity to appear on your fundraising page.

Remember, you can manually add your kilometres to the tally in your My Fitness Activity tab of your profile after registering. This is a great option if you’re using a pedometer or a different method of tracking your distances.

Follow these steps to manually add your KMs:

  1. Log in to your account and select ‘My Fitness Activity’
  2. Under ‘Add activity’, enter the date and distance
  3. The number of KMs will now appear on your fundraising page!

Go ahead, brag a little – you’ve earned it! Tell your social media supporters far and wide how you’ve made a difference and reached your goal. Include #mswalkrunroll so we can celebrate with you!

The funds that you raise ensure that people living with multiple sclerosis get the vital support they need to meet their goals, live well and ensure that no one has to face MS alone.

The MS Virtual Walk Run + Roll - Victoria is open to anyone and everyone. You can complete your walk run or roll locally or from indoors with a treadmill or cross trainer anytime across Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th October 2020 as we come together – in our own pocket of this great state.

Getting outdoors and being active is a wonderful way to reduce stress levels and maintain overall health. At the time of publication, for metro Melbourne, you are now able to exercise with up to 4 other people from 1 other household within your respective 5km zones. To support public safety and wellness please exercise caution, such as avoiding peak times and always follow government advice and practice good hygiene.
