Tameaka is joining the MS Walk Run + Roll in Launceston again in 2024.
Tameaka has already raised almost $2,000 for her team "March for Missy" towards the event, to ensure that over 33,300 Australians living with multiple sclerosis, can meet their goals, live well, and not have to face MS alone.
When asked why she is taking part Tameaka mentioned the family connection that encourages her to make a difference.
My sister lives with multiple sclerosis so the fundraising and the MS Walk Run + Roll means a lot to me.
When asked why she get involved in the MS Walk Run + Roll, beyond her Family connection, Tameaka is eager to support the search for a cure in any way she can.
I believe that this event is a great way to raise awareness of the impact MS can have on people, the opportunity to help raise funds for support, services and to one day find a cure is one small way I can try and help.
In 2022 Tameaka took part in the MS Walk Run + Roll for the first time and raised almost $5,000 with her team "March For Missy". backing up this amazing effort in 2023 "March For Missy" as captained by Tameaka raised an astonishing $7,853!
In 2024 Tameka and "March For Missy" are looking to back this effort up and hopefully raise even more for people living with MS.

Approach your fundraising with enthusiasm, just do your best, every little bit helps! I have done raffles this year and we are already almost at $2,000.
