The Launceston MS Walk Run + Roll sets off from the historic Inveresk Railway Turntable and Roundhouse, Invermay.

Enjoy a scenic course along the North Esk River as you get moving for MS. The 4.5km course is wheelchair and stroller friendly, so bring the whole family while the 9.5km course takes you through beautiful Heritage Forest; home to 27 species of Tasmanian Eucalyptus trees, birds, bees and native flora, as you get moving for MS.

Safety on course

As the course utilises both directions of the path please slow down if you notice a congested area up ahead and respect other people’s space.

Friendly MS volunteer marshals wearing masks will be located at key positions along the course. Please make their job easier and ensure physical distancing is at the front of your mind throughout the event.

Access to services and water

In 2020 there will not be any rest sites in accordance with health and safety best practice. First Aid will be on site should they be required but we request and encourage you to bring your own water bottle and water.

The 2020 Launceston MS Walk Run + Roll is accessible to wheelchairs, mobility scooters and prams*. All accessible toilets are available at the event village.

* Please note, although both courses are flat some surfaces along the paths are gravel. If you own a motorised or electric wheelchair, we recommend you bring it along.
