Hi everyone!

As some of you may know, my amazing mum was diagnosed with MS a few years back. You never think something like this will happen to someone who is the most important to you, but when it does, it really makes you realise how short life is.

Watching someone you love go through this is extremely hard, but imagine what it is like to be living with it. My mum has always been the strongest woman I know, but the strength and resilience she has shown since being diagnosed, is something I admire to have. Every day my mum shows up for herself and everyone around her, even when she would rather be relaxing outside. Mum, you really are the best.

Multiple sclerosis is a chronic and often debilitating disease which attacks the central nervous system (the brain, spinal cord and optic nerves). It is the most common neurological disease in young adults and often attacks people at a time in their lives when they are planning families and building a career. Three out of four people living with MS are women.

This coming May, me and my family will be participating in the MS walk, run and roll!
