It's been nearly a year and a half since my diagnosis of MS. I can't say I have fully accepted it yet and am still going through various stages of grief for things I want to do but can't. I'm learning how to lower my expectations of what I'm able to do, which is super hard because I still want to do everything!!
MS is different for everyone.
For me, it's daily debilitating fatigue, nerve pain, poor vision. Some days are better than others, and I can do 'normal' stuff - but other days I can barely keep myself upright and awake.
The thing that makes the biggest difference to lift my spirits is the amazing support from those around me. My husband, kids, family and close friends. I'm so grateful for all of you 🙏.

Multiple sclerosis is a chronic and often debilitating disease which attacks the central nervous system (the brain, spinal cord and optic nerves). It is the most common neurological disease in young adults and often attacks people at a time in their lives when they are planning families and building a career.
Three out of four people living with MS are women.
With your support, we can allow people living with multiple sclerosis access to vital support services. We’ll also be helping bring new treatments closer to reality, investing in repairing myelin damage to restore function that has been lost for people with progressive forms of the disease.
