20 Years of Friendship, 2 Birds from Yorkshire, 1 Important Cause

For 20 years, we’ve called ourselves Birds—two  mates from Yorkshire who’ve laughed, cried, and supported each other. Now, we’re walking together to help fight multiple sclerosis (MS)—a cause that’s suddenly become very personal.

On May 8th, 2024, Lisa was diagnosed with MS.

Some days, she feels okay. But most days, she wakes up dizzy, exhausted, weak, and unsure how she’ll get through the day. That’s the reality of MS—unpredictable, invisible, and life-changing.

This past year has been the toughest of Lisa’s life. But thanks to her amazing friends, family, and the incredible support from MS Plus, she hasn’t had to face it alone. Through every high and low, Saley has been right there—her constant, her cheerleader, and now, her partner in this walk. Saley has been the heart behind this idea, determined to turn struggle into strength and raise funds for people living with MS.

MS Plus has supported Lisa in more ways than words can express. Now, it’s time to give back—to walk for hope, for connection, and for everyone affected by MS.
