2026 Melbourne MS Walk Run + Roll

NO ONE SHOULD FACE MS ALONE!

Can you imagine waking up one day unable to do the everyday things you would usually take for granted? Like not being able to see properly (or at all), unable to get out of bed, walk to the phone to call someone – anyone – or live a life without pain?

All of a sudden, your world has changed.

Multiple sclerosis is a chronic and often debilitating disease which attacks the central nervous system (the brain, spinal cord and optic nerves). It is the most common neurological disease in young adults and often attacks people at a time in their lives when they are planning families and building a career. Three out of four people living with MS are women.

With your support, we can allow people living with multiple sclerosis access to vital support services, like MS Connect, MS Peer Support and MS Employment Support Programs. We’ll also be helping bring new treatments closer to reality, investing in repairing myelin damage to restore function that has been lost for people with progressive forms of the disease.

On behalf of over 37,756 Aussies living with multiple sclerosis – THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!

Tuesday 26th May

This year, I am walking in support of Kristy Williams.

I am walking alongside her, and alongside so many others, to raise awareness and support for multiple sclerosis — a disease that can be so deeply felt, yet often unseen.

MS is a condition where the immune system attacks the brain and spinal cord. It can affect each person differently, causing symptoms such as vision problems, extreme tiredness, trouble walking, balance issues, numbness, weakness and so much more.

For Kristy, MS became very real on January 1st, when she woke with her first MS attack.

At first, she was in denial, hoping things would improve and her vision would return to what she knew. But days passed, and the battle continued. She was doing everything she possibly could to recover, seeing the right people, and trying to get back even a little of what she had lost.

MS is often called a silent disease, and Kristy’s story shows exactly why.

From the outside, someone may look fine. They may not be in hospital. They may not be under intensive care. But that does not mean they are not suffering. It does not mean they are not struggling every day. It does not mean their world hasn’t been turned upside down.

I love Kristy, and I want to support her in any way I can. So this year, I walk for her.

I walk to show her she is not alone.

I walk for awareness.

I walk for support.

I walk for hope.

And I walk for everyone living with MS, especially those fighting battles that others cannot see.

Any donation, big or small, would mean so much and will help support people living with MS and the ongoing search for better treatment, support and understanding.

For Kristy, and for everyone living with MS, we walk together. ❤️
