NO ONE SHOULD FACE MS ALONE!
Can you imagine waking up one day unable to do the everyday things you would usually take for granted? Like not being able to see properly (or at all), unable to get out of bed, walk to the phone to call someone – anyone – or live a life without pain?
All of a sudden, your world has changed.
Multiple sclerosis is a chronic and often debilitating disease which attacks the central nervous system (the brain, spinal cord and optic nerves). It is the most common neurological disease in young adults and often attacks people at a time in their lives when they are planning families and building a career. Three out of four people living with MS are women.
With your support, we can allow people living with multiple sclerosis access to vital support services, like MS Connect, MS Peer Support and MS Employment Support Programs. We’ll also be helping bring new treatments closer to reality, investing in repairing myelin damage to restore function that has been lost for people with progressive forms of the disease.
On behalf of over 37,756 Aussies living with multiple sclerosis – THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!

Why I Run and Walk for MS
Friday 6th MarEvery year I take part in the MS Run & Walk, and the reason behind it is simple: I do it for my best mate.
He has been living with Multiple Sclerosis for more than half his life. Over the years I’ve seen firsthand what that journey can look like. I’ve seen him at his absolute best - strong, motivated and determined to live life fully. And I’ve also seen him at his worst, when MS makes even the simplest things harder than they should be.
But through it all, one thing has never changed: his attitude.
Despite the challenges MS throws at him, he continues to approach life with positivity and determination. He sets goals for himself, especially around his health, and works relentlessly to achieve them. That mindset is something I deeply admire. It’s also something that constantly reminds me why this cause matters so much.
Running and walking for MS is my small way of standing beside him in his fight.
It’s about showing support not just for him, but for everyone living with MS - the people pushing through tough days, the families supporting them, and the researchers working toward better treatments and hopefully one day a cure.
For me, every step is personal. It represents friendship, resilience, and hope.
I’ll always be there to support my mate, just like he continues to show up for life every single day. And if putting on my running shoes to run and walk 15km can help raise awareness, funding, and support for people living with MS, then it’s something I’ll keep doing every year.
Because no one should have to face MS alone. 💙
