2026 Melbourne MS Walk Run + Roll

NO ONE SHOULD FACE MS ALONE!

Can you imagine waking up one day unable to do the everyday things you would usually take for granted? Like not being able to see properly (or at all), unable to get out of bed, walk to the phone to call someone – anyone – or live a life without pain?

All of a sudden, your world has changed.

Multiple sclerosis is a chronic and often debilitating disease which attacks the central nervous system (the brain, spinal cord and optic nerves). It is the most common neurological disease in young adults and often attacks people at a time in their lives when they are planning families and building a career. Three out of four people living with MS are women.

With your support, we can allow people living with multiple sclerosis access to vital support services, like MS Connect, MS Peer Support and MS Employment Support Programs. We’ll also be helping bring new treatments closer to reality, investing in repairing myelin damage to restore function that has been lost for people with progressive forms of the disease.

On behalf of over 37,756 Aussies living with multiple sclerosis – THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!

For Rory!

Sunday 17th May

11 months ago, Rory was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS)! We barely knew what it was, it was really scary. Back pain, loss of feeling in his arm, bladder & legs. Blurry vision, lesions on his spine & on his brain. MS is a lifelong often ‘invisible’ disease with currently no cure, only treatment. Since Rory’s diagnosis he has had 2 emergency hospital stays, monthly infusions, severe fatigue, a whole lot of social isolation, a whole lot of love, had to stop work, got to start work again, got a promotion, played a lot of music, had a lot of rest, had a MS flare up, had a surprise birthday party, had 2 holidays, missed out on a lot of events, had poor mental health, found love in journaling about his diagnosis. Constantly riding the unpredictable wave that is MS. It’s been a hell of a year. He’s so strong & amazing & brave and I’m so proud of him. He is handling his new normal really well. Ups & downs.

On the 31st of May, Rory & I will be participating in the MS roll, walk or run to help raise awareness & money for MS research, in hopes that one day in Rory’s lifetime there will be a cure! We will be doing the 10km walk at 10:30am and would love to see you there & to show up for Rory and let him feel your love and support. ❤️❣️PLEASE DONATE TOWARDS MS RESEARCH IF YOU CAN!
